This week Dennis Wholey begins a roundtable discussion with 4 guests of varied backgrounds, all of whom are strongly devoted to confronting poverty throughout the world. The group discusses the definitions of poverty, how it takes shape in various parts of the world and most importantly as one guest stated, “poverty is far more than a lack of stuff” but in fact is often a lack of choices. Guests include World Vision’s Kent Hill, Oxfam America’s Gregory Adams, Brookings Institution’s Amadou Sy and Ambassador of Niger, Prof. Hassana Alidou.
